When you ask Maya about school, she'll tell you everything about the bus....who she sits next to, what the number is and what the driver said. Riding the school bus is definitely her favorite aspect. We even have to argue on days that we need to do "parent pick up" to convince her to come home with us! Mommy had to miss Maya's first day of school while she was on a business trip in Europe. So sad for mommy but luckily Essi took all these great pictures. Check out more at our family photo gallery.
Maya is doing so well in school and is known to be a big class helper.....quite the imitator of her teacher I think. I can't believe she is a whole head taller than almost everyone in the class....except for our neighbor's Anthony and Aakash.
She has a phobia of buying lunch and really likes her packing routine. Now that it is October and Daddy has joined her for lunch a couple times, she is getting more used to the idea of buying, at least milk.
Her big brother Jack won't admit it but he really likes to help her out.....finding her clasroom, telling her about their specials teachers and things that go on in the school. She gets excited on days that she gets to see Jack in the hallway or at an assembly.
Now we have 1 and a half kids in school...2 and a half more to go :)
